Anita brings extensive expertise to her role, managing a diverse caseload that spans from toddlers to adults in aged care. Her experience encompasses providing support across the lifespan for individuals facing various physical, developmental, sensory processing, and social/behavioral difficulties. Anita has worked diligently with children and adults dealing with conditions such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, ABI, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, Global Delay, and various other learning difficulties.
“My approach at Grace Children’s Therapy emphasises individualised goal-setting and the design of therapy programs tailored to each child’s unique needs, learning style, and level. The aim is to foster the achievement of these goals within a supportive environment, ensuring positive outcomes and contributing to the development of happy and confident children”.
The ethos at Grace Children’s Therapy involves advocacy for children, ensuring that families feel comfortable either at their fully equipped occupational therapy practice or during community visits.

Operations Manager
Helen joins the Grace Children’s Therapy team as the Operations Manager. At the heart of her world is her “incredible husband and her two cheeky boys who, as lively as they are, continually inspire and shape her as a mum.”
For over a decade, Helen’s professional focus has been on Early Education, where she navigated team management and fostered growth across various educational settings. Prior to this, she successfully operated her own business.
“Whilst my career has predominantly revolved around team development, a focus that has shaped my fulfilling career, is my love for children that has been a constant source of joy and purpose”.
Helen brings with her a wealth knowledge and understanding and is dedicated to the provision of quality intervention, effective service delivery, and bringing to life the values and mission of Grace Children’s Therapy.

Ly is a devoted therapist with a specialised focus on supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, and those encountering challenges with handwriting and learning. Her approach centres around play-based methodologies, aimed at actively engaging children and fostering their motivation to achieve developmental goals. Ly’s dedication extends beyond individual sessions, as she collaborates closely with parents and school teachers to ensure a seamless transfer of acquired skills into the home and school environments.
Outside her professional commitments, Ly exhibits a notable passion for tennis, showcasing her talent as an avid player. During her downtime, she either enjoys playing or watching tennis. Within the team at Grace Children’s Therapy, Ly brings a vibrant combination of fun and energy, embodying the commitment to creating a positive and effective therapeutic environment for the children she serves.
Karen
Head of Clinical Practice & Professional Development

Karen brings decades of comprehensive experience, having dedicated almost 30 years to working with individuals spanning across the entire lifespan — from infants to adults. Her expertise lies in addressing a diverse range of challenges, encompassing physical, neurological, developmental, sensory, and social/behavioural difficulties.
As a seasoned therapist in the field of sensory disability, Karen has passionately served children, adolescents, and adults with vision and hearing impairments, focusing on a spectrum of everyday living goals. Her clientele has extended to those with sensory impairments, learning difficulties, sensory processing disorder, autism, and developmental and motor coordination disorders.
In her capacity at Grace Children’s Therapy, Karen assumes the crucial responsibility of overseeing continuous professional development. Through this, she ensures that our therapists are equipped with the latest insights and methodologies in the field. Additionally, Karen takes a proactive role in training and supporting therapists, empowering them to provide optimal support to their clients. Her dedication to fostering a high standard of professional excellence within our team aligns seamlessly with our commitment to delivering the best possible care to the families we serve.

Ashleigh

Ashleigh completed her Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy). Ashleigh captures the values and culture of Grace Children’s Therapy in her therapy sessions & displays a deep understanding of the importance of achieving functional goals and progressing children towards participation in all aspects of daily living. Ashleigh has completed post graduate training in sensory processing disorder, praxis, advanced play skills and emotional regulation.

Kelly is a fun and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist. Her sessions are full of creating new, engaging ways to ensure that a child’s functional goals and needs are being met, while increasing independence and participation.
Kelly thrives off working with others, particularly with children and their families, to meet their needs and goals. She advocates for inclusion, functional progression, and individuality with her clients by tailoring each session to the child’s needs and interests. Kelly believes in maximising the potential of each client through their strengths and providing confidence through their day-to-day activities.
Kelly has experience in working with children with physical and developmental disabilities to fulfil their goals of fine motor and gross motor development, self-care, handwriting, social skills, and emotional regulation.
Outside of work, Kelly enjoys the great outdoors, exploring new places and likes to spend her time exercising and keeping fit.
